How it works
A price list is a few rows of “from this amount, this price per unit”. The product’s own price applies up to the first row. From each row’s amount, its lower price applies, and it applies to the whole amount, not just the part above the line.

A customer buying 55 m² pays £22.00 for all 55 m²: £1,210.00.
Which amount counts
The amount the customer pays for, after waste and whole packs. 48 m² plus 10% for waste is 52.8 m², which is 22 packs of 2.5 m², which is 55 m²: the 20 m² price applies. This is the honest way round: the customer sees the same amount in the summary, the basket and the discount.
Setting up
On the Sold by tab of an amount product, under Cheaper for bigger amounts:
- Add a lower price. A row appears: “From [amount] m²: £ [price] price per m²”.
- Type the amount the lower price starts from, and the price per unit.
- Add more rows for more steps down. Rows are kept in order from small to large.
The editor warns when a bigger amount costs more per unit than a smaller one, and marks a row with no price. Try an amount under the list shows which price a given amount gets.
The list is saved when you update the product, under the product’s name: “Oak flooring price list”. Other products can pick it; see sharing and naming.

What the customer sees
Under the calculator, one line says where the prices drop: “From 20 m²: £22.00 / m². From 100 m²: £20.00 / m².” When their amount reaches a row, the summary says so: “£22.00 per m², the 20 m²+ price.” The line total in the summary, the basket and the order all use the lower price.
